NEW VERMONTERS
WHAT BRINGS YOU TO VERMONT?
What brings you here? Are you relocating for a job opportunity? Moving back to be closer to family or friends? Seeking to become rooted in community? Maybe you seek recreation. Perhaps you are open to life outside the hustle and bustle of a more metropolitan area. There's so many different reasons to move to Vermont!

The Vermont Welcome Wagon Project (VWWP) seeks to help people make connections and get settled more quickly into the green mountain state. We help you connect you to resources and wish to help make your transition as simple and fulfilling as possible!
HOW CAN YOU DO THIS? SIGN ME UP!
Fill out this form with some very simple info about yourself -- where in VT you relocated to, your interests, any specific questions you have, etc. This info is used only to communicate to our network of Hosts (via email newsletter) and to help geographically connect you most easily. Each newsletter includes short bios of new, local VT'ers as well as different opportunities to meet up -- upcoming events, volunteer opportunities, and family activities! Within a couple of weeks of submitting the form, you can expect to hear from a Host looking to connect.

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT?
Connect with a Community Host.
Your local VWWP team will connect you with local Hosts, who volunteer their time to support our cause. Hosts reach out to find a mutually convenient and safe location to connect and share ideas about how to find community and get acquainted. We hope this time spent will give you better sense of what life in Vermont is and can be like.

Attend Chapter events.
Our official Chapters host host events periodically to create a low-stress environment for hosts, community members, and local leaders to meet and greet New Vermonters. This is a great option to meet local hosts, community leaders, mingle with entrepreneurs or professionals, and build community - which is what the VWWP is all about. And yes, some events are specifically geared towards families!
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
All adult humans are invited to participate! We believe diversity is fundamental to a strong and vibrant Vermont. By intention and design, our program welcomes all people to participate. We respect and affirm the dignity of each member of the community.
