MEET THE ADDISON COUNTY VWWP TEAM

The Vermont Welcome Wagon Project's Addison County chapter is managed by the Addison County Chamber of Commerce, which is a vital resource for the local business community. The Chamber provides governmental affairs programming, educational forums and opportunities to meet other members to create and nurture connections.

Amy Djordjevic

Amy Djordjevic

Amy is originally from the West Coast growing up in the Southern California sun.  After pursuing a career in hotels and catering for many years, she made the move to Southern Vermont in 2003, and has continued to explore all that the Northeast has to offer, living in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island and a few other spots before returning to live in Vermont and ultimately, deciding that the Vermont life is the way to go!

In 2019, Amy and her husband purchased the Strong House Inn, a 14-room B&B in Vergennes, located in the heart of the Champlain Valley.  When not cooking breakfast for guests, planning renovation projects for her husband DJ, and running around with one hand in housekeeping, advertising, directing concierge services and building local relationships, and the other hand running the events and tourism coordination for the Addison County Chamber of Commerce, Amy enjoys reading, hiking and spending time with her horse, Aragorn.  She also love exploring Vermont's many back roads, which has become a great way to get away for a bit, while learning more about this great state!
